How long does it take for my funds to show up in my account?

After you connect your bank and complete your account setup it can take a few days for your funds to fully process and appear in your account.

Most bank transfers (processed via ACH) take 3–7 business days, depending on your bank. Once your funds are received in our custody account - where they’re securely held for investment - they’ll be placed into the next appropriate open startup reservation.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your reservation is complete, and you’ll see it reflected in your Fundify app.

What is the process of investing with Fundify?

Investing through Fundify is simple and fully guided.

Create your account - Download the Fundify app and complete your investor profile, set your monthly investment amount, and securely link your bank account so your investments can process automatically every month.
We handle the rest - Fundify’s Team along with their ProAdvisors review, vet, negotiate and select promising startups for you. Your funds are automatically reserved across a diversified portfolio of pre-IPO companies over time. Once the round closes you will then own shares in the startup and we will then share the full name and details as well as how many shares you own, price per share, valuation, etc.
Track or update your account anytime - View your startup reservations and full portfolio in the Fundify App. If you ever need to pause your account or adjust your monthly investment amount, you can do that in the App. If you’d like to cancel or withdraw funds while they are in an open reservation, you can contact us easily through the in-app chat or via email.

What is a Fundify reservation?

A Fundify Reservation is a commitment we’ve made on behalf of our members to invest in a particular pre-IPO startup.

‍Locks your spot - The reservation secures the Fundify investing member’s position in the funding round.

‍Confidential until public - Your reservation stays private until the offering is officially filed with the SEC. At that point you’ll receive the company’s name and full details so you can see exactly what you’re invested in.

How long until my reservation becomes an investment?

Each startup is different. Startup investing happens in rounds, and a round can remain open for several months.

While your funds are in an open reservation, you can cancel or request a withdrawal at any time. Withdrawals typically take 5–10 business days to process.

Once the round officially closes, your reservation converts into an investment, and you’ll receive full details about your ownership - including the startup’s name, number of shares, price per share, and valuation.

What is the minimum investment?

With Fundify, we believe that everyone should have access to the pre-IPO startup asset class of investing so we’ve removed this barrier.

There is no minimum investment requirement. You can start today with as little as $1.

Who can invest with Fundify? Do I have to be an accredited investor?

No - you don’t have to be accredited to invest with Fundify.Fundify was built to empower everyday investors, so both accredited and non-accredited investors are welcome on our platform. To invest, you simply need to:

Be 18 years old or older
Have a valid Social Security Number
Have a legal U.S. residential address (within the 50 states or Puerto Rico)
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

What is a ProAdvisor?

A Fundify ProAdvisor is a seasoned founder, operator, or investor who helps review startups on behalf of our investing members.

Each ProAdvisor brings deep industry experience and practical insight to the Fundify review process- adding a real human layer of diligence beyond data and algorithms. Their feedback helps ensure the startups selected for Fundify’s platform meet high standards of potential and integrity.

ProAdvisors are an essential part of the Fundify community, helping bridge the gap between opportunity and expertise.

What does Fundify’s due diligence process look like?

Fundify hand-selects startups on behalf of our investing members.

Before any investment is made, each startup goes through a review process led by our Investment Committee and ProAdvisor Network, made up of experienced founders, operators, and investors.

Our diligence combines quantitative analysis (traction, financial performance, valuation, and growth potential) with qualitative insight (team experience, market opportunity, and long-term vision).

Only startups that meet our highest standards move forward. The result is a curated portfolio of early-stage companies selected for their strength, integrity, and long-term potential - giving Fundify members access to professionally vetted investments typically reserved for venture funds and accredited investors.

How does Fundify choose which startups to invest in?

Fundify invests on behalf of our members through a disciplined, hands-on selection process.

Our Investment Committee and ProAdvisor Network - made up of experienced founders, operators, and investors - evaluate startups using both data and real-world insight. We look at traction, leadership, market opportunity, valuation, and long-term potential before deciding where to invest.

Fundify does not invest in gambling, tobacco, marijuana, or companies based outside the U.S.The result: a carefully built portfolio of U.S.-based startups that reflect strong fundamentals, clear growth potential, and responsible investing standards.

Can I choose the specific startup I want to invest in?

Fundify takes the guesswork out of startup investing.

Rather than asking you to decide which startup might be best, our team and ProAdvisors do that work for you. We carefully review each opportunity - analyzing traction, market potential, leadership, and long-term outlook - and select only those that meet our standards.

Your funds are then automatically invested across a curated portfolio that fits your goals and risk preferences, giving you access to expert-selected opportunities without the overwhelming weight of choosing individual companies yourself.

What are the names of my startups?

For confidentiality and regulatory reasons, we don’t share the names of startups while their investment rounds are still open. Disclosing those details too early could risk the integrity of the round and your investment.

Once a round closes, your reservation converts into an investment, and we’ll provide full details - including the startup’s name, number of shares, price per share, and valuation.

What pre-IPO startups are in Fundify’s portfolio?

Fundify is just getting started, and our portfolio is growing quickly. We currently have two active startup reservations open for investment, with additional opportunities launching soon.

Every startup added to Fundify’s portfolio goes through a review process led by our Investment Committee and ProAdvisor Network of experienced founders, operators, and investors.

As rounds close, we’ll share more details about the specific companies included in our portfolio.

What am I investing in?

When you invest through Fundify, your money is used to invest in pre-IPO startup companies.

Depending on the startup, investments may take the form of preferred or common equity, convertible notes, or SAFEs (Simple Agreements for Future Equity) - all standard instruments in early-stage financing that represent real or future ownership in the companies Fundify selects.

Fundify focuses on U.S.-based startups across pre-seed, seed, early, and later stages - giving you ownership in innovative private companies built for long-term growth.

We do not invest in companies involved in gambling, tobacco, marijuana, or those domiciled outside the U.S. Our goal is to make startup investing responsible, compliant, and accessible to everyone.

Am I investing in a fund or a specific startup?

When you invest with Fundify, you are investing in specific pre-IPO startups that have been vetted by our ProAdvisor network and endorsed by our Investment Committee.

How long should I expect to hold my investment?

Startup investments are considered long-term. Most private companies take multiple years to grow, mature, and reach an event that creates liquidity - such as an acquisition or IPO.

While timelines vary by company, many startups exit with-in 3-5 years. Some exit quicker but also many take longer. Investors should plan to hold their investments for this long or longer. Unlike public stocks, these investments aren’t easily sold or traded before a liquidity event.

Fundify’s approach focuses on building a diversified portfolio of early-stage companies to help balance risk and capture potential long-term gains as these startups grow and succeed.

What will my returns look like?

Startup investing is different from public market investing - returns can vary widely and often take time to materialize.

If a startup succeeds and is acquired or goes public, your investment could increase significantly in value. However, some startups may take years to reach that point, and others may not succeed at all. That’s why Fundify emphasizes diversification - spreading your investments across many startups to help balance risk and potential reward.

Because these are long-term, illiquid investments, it’s best to think of Fundify as a way to build ownership in innovative private companies, not as a short-term income source.

How risky is it to invest in startups with Fundify?

All startup investing carries risk - these are early-stage companies that may take years to grow or may not succeed at all.

Where does Fundify find startups?

Fundify sources startups through a combination of trusted networks including: angel investors, angel groups, accelerators, incubators, venture studios, and venture capital firms, creating proprietary deal flow.

Our team and ProAdvisors - experienced founders, operators, and investors - actively identify and review promising companies across a range of industries. We also receive direct referrals from our ProAdvisor community and venture partners who share our commitment to responsible, high-quality investing.

Every startup is evaluated by our Investment Committee before being selected for Fundify’s portfolio, ensuring each opportunity aligns with our standards for potential, integrity, and long-term growth.

How can startups raise capital with Fundify?

If you’re a founder interested in raising capital through Fundify, we’d love to learn more about your company.

You can submit your startup application or upload your investor deck at https://www.fundify.com/startups. Once submitted, our investment team will review your information and reach out if it’s a potential fit.

Can I withdraw or cancel my account?

Yes. You can withdraw your funds or close your account at any time while your money is in an open startup reservation.

Simply message us through the in-app chat, and our team will help process your request. Withdrawals typically take 5–10 business days to complete.

Once a startup funding round closes and your reservation becomes an investment, your funds are converted into ownership in that company - at that point, they cannot be withdrawn until a liquidity event (like an acquisition or IPO).

Can I add a one-time deposit to my account?

Fundify’s investing model is built around recurring monthly investments, not one-time deposits.

Your monthly investment amount acts as the maximum Fundify will invest into any single startup. This helps keep your portfolio balanced by spreading your funds across multiple startups rather than concentrating too much in one.

Because of this structure, adding a one-time deposit directly doesn’t automatically increase your investment activity — extra funds would still be limited by your monthly cap and could remain uninvested for a time.
